Prasanna Krishnan will discuss the value of sharing data assets at a macro level, highlighting 1) why companies tend to share data, and 2) why there seems to be a current inflection point in how companies share data.
Prasanna is Director of Product Management for Data Sharing and the Snowflake Data Exchange. She has been a Founder & product leader with experience as an exec at venture-backed startups (MongoDB, Jetsetter acquired by Tripadvisor and Founder at SmartyPal profiled in Inc. Magazine). She was also a VC at Draper Fisher Jurvetson, and worked on product roles at Microsoft and Comcast. Prasanna received an MBA from the Wharton School, where she was a Palmer Scholar. She has a Masters in Computer Science from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign where she was a Siebel Scholar and a Bachelors in Computer Science from BITS, Pilani, India
