AIM Utah is offering another 4-month leadership/mentoring program starting in February 2012. This leadership training is designed to help develop leadership in Utah's business and technology organizations. It is targeted for up and coming Information Technology leaders as well as Business leaders. Ten experienced and successful CIO's teach the program. The cost of this program is $500, which includes 6 leadership books with Audio CD's and includes the lunches. The focus of this training is on the "soft leadership skills" and not the technical aspects of the leadership job. Improving the participant's EQ (Emotional Intelligence) in relationship to themselves, their leaders, peers and subordinates is the specific intent of this program. Recent studies show that a person's business success is based more on their EQ than their IQ. Each program participant will be expected to read/listen to each of the four books below, one each month, and experiment with their concepts. Two additional books/CD's will be provided as optional material for use in Session #2 and #3.

Each of the monthly sessions will be held at the Corporate Offices of the Worker Compensation Fund Company in Sandy. Located at 100 West Towne Ridge Parkway (9620 So.). The sessions will start promptly at 9:00 AM and be completed by 4:00 PM. Lunch will be served as part of the session. A spouse luncheon will be scheduled in early April for spouses and/or participants on the subject of the book "Anatomy of Peace". The leadership sessions are scheduled each month:

First Session is scheduled for Friday, February 17th, 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM.
Second Session is scheduled for Friday, March 16th, 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM.
Spouse Luncheon to be scheduled in early April, 11:00 AM to 1:30 PM
Third Session is scheduled for Friday, April 20th, 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM.
Fourth Session is scheduled for Friday, May 18th, 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM.

The sessions are highly interactive with real life relationship leadership examples. In the 30 days between sessions there will be reading and work assignments to be completed.
