About AIM Utah

Welcome to AIM Utah, where you will find the most dynamic group of IT leaders in the industry. AIM Utah has a solid reputation as the key organization for the IT leader in the Salt Lake City area. As an IT leader the chapter provides an opportunity for you to network with your peers, share knowledge and experiences, and attend monthly luncheon presentations with key industry professionals.

In addition to the monthly meetings, AIM Utah offers programs such as CIO Roundtables, Innovation Sessions for front line technology professionals, and management training for the up-and-coming IT leader. Our annual golf tournament in June is one of the premier golf events in the state, and we appreciate the support of our sponsors.

I am honored and excited to be the President this year of such a tremendous organization. I intend to build on our recent successes and continue with the excellent AIM Utah programs and events that have become the standard for our chapter. We have a tremendous board, with years of dedicated, real world leadership experience in the IT industry. All members of the AIM Utah Board have a passion for the success of the organization and each plays a part in making AIM Utah the outstanding organization that it is.

Some of the key goals of the AIM Utah Board for 2010 include:

•  Continuing our focus on membership recruiting where we will reach out to the CIO or top IT leader from the companies in the local business community.

•  Maintaining the high level of speakers and presentations that our membership has come to expect.

•  Providing additional methods for our members to interact and network, including web-based as well as in-person meetings and programs.

•  Refining and enhancing the AIM Experiential Leadership Development course, where the IT leaders of the future can learn personally from current IT leaders.

You can expect that AIM Utah will continue to be the organization where the local IT leader looks for community, peer collaboration, and IT best practices. The more you get personally involved, the more you will receive from your membership and association.

Thank you for your support of AIM Utah.

David Lewis
