Thank you for your interest in AIM Utah. AIM is a network of IT leaders dedicated to the idea that, together, we can improve the value that IT adds to any organization. Our programs are designed to build a network of IT leaders that share best practices and lessons learned.

As an AIM member, you belong to the most dynamic group of IT leaders in the area. Our AIM organization has built a solid reputation for thought leadership and innovation.

In order to meet our goal of helping IT leaders be successful and deliver value for their organizations, we support several programs. These programs are:

•  Monthly Lunch Meetings: On the second Thursday of each month (September through May) we meet for lunch. These meetings feature presentations by industry and IT thought leaders.

•  CIO Roundtable: Five to six times each year, the roundtable meets to openly discuss relevant topics. These sessions cover topics such as IT strategic planning, employee retention, relationship management, technology futures, et cetera.

•  Leadership Development Institute (LDI): This highly-successful program trains the next generation of IT leaders in the essential tools of successful leaders. LDI meets once a month for four months and is offered twice each year.

•  Innovations: Participants in this program select a process that is important in IT operations and then define a set of best practices for achieving excellence in this process. This program is designed for members of the CIO's staff.

•  Annual Golf Event: This sponsored event is one of the premier golf events in the state. Through the generous support of our sponsors, we fund our AIM programs and scholarships.

•  Annual CIO Conference: New for 2011 is a day-long event focused on improving our members' leadership skills. The 2011 conference features speakers such as James Ferrell (author of "Leadership and Self-Deception" and "The Anatomy of Peace") and Joel Dehlin and entertainment by Ryan Shupe and the Rubber Band.

The members of the AIM Utah board have a passion for the success of the organization. We encourage you to join with us and participate in our network and activities. The more involved you are, the more you will receive from your membership and association.
